When I was in high school, I learned about the profession of "speech-language pathologist" from a drama I watched, and that was the impetus for me to aim for it. At "Rehabilitation College Shimane", the distance between teachers and students is close, and it's an environment where it's easy to talk about anything. Currently, I am in charge of patients with aphasia, higher brain dysfunction, and dysphagia. There are times when I run into a wall, but I will never forget the joy I felt when a patient I took care of for the first time said, "I'm glad you're here." I think it is important to stay close to the vague anxiety that you will not be able to do what you have been able to do until now, and to notice small changes and share them with patients. I am still immature, but I would like to continue my efforts without forgetting the feeling of moving forward together with patients.
